Our research presented @ LAK23

From 13 until 17 March 2023, the Learning Analytics and Knowledge Conference (LAK23), the worlds’ biggest conference on learning analytics (LA), was held at the University of Texas (Arlington), organized by the Society for Learning Analytics Research (SOLAR). The overarching topic of the conference was Towards Trustworthy Learning Analytics. Professor Blaženka Divjak, the Head of the LA Lab, took an active part in a number of activities.
In cooperation with researchers from the Open University UK and Monash University in Australia, within the pre-conference program, she held a workshop entitled Learning Design Analytics: Balanced Planning with an Innovative, Free-to-Use Software Tool. In the workshop, participants were presented with the Balanced Design Planning concept and tool (https://learning-design.eu), developed by a team led by Professor Divjak, which is already being used in more than 30 countries around the world. Professor Divjak was also part of the international team organizing the workshop entitled LAK23 Assess: the 3rd Workshop on Learning Analytics and Assessment.
Most importantly, she presented a study conducted by the members of the Lab on students' perspectives on learning analytics dashboards and the research paper entitled Learning Analytics Dashboards: What Do Students Actually Ask For?
Professor Divjak also participated as a panelist in the doctoral consortium and discussed AI in education from European perspective within the session of the Global Research Alliance for AI in Learning and Education (GRAILE).
