Article on LA and assessment published in prestigious BJET

An article authored by Professor Blaženka Divjak, Barbi Svetec, Damir Horvat and Assistant Professor Nikola Kadoić has been published in one of the leading publications on Educational Technology: British Journal of Educational Technology.

The article, entitled Assessment Validity and Learning Analytics as Prerequisites for Ensuring Student-Centred Learning Design, presents a model for ensuring assessment validity which supports constructive alignment between learning outcomes, teaching and learning activities, and assessment. The model uses learning analytics to consider the prioritization of learning outcomes (based on multi-criteria decision-making) in comparison with an actual assessment program and students’ results, in the cycle of continuous improvement of learning design.
