Professor Blaženka Divjak held a keynote speech at the 25th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED2024), taking place from 8 till 12 July 2024 in Recife, Brazil, with the theme of "AI in Education for a World in Transition".

The keynote, titled “Navigating Strategic Challenges in Education in the Post-Pandemic AI Era”, provided an innovative angle on the most current developments affecting the world of education, including the perspective of the Cynefin framework for decision-making, as described by David Snowden. Professor Divjak also talked about the knowledge and skills, as well as values, needed for successful human-machine partnerships, and presented the current LA Lab’s research, contributing to the better understanding of opportunities and challenges and supporting meaningful decision-making, teaching and learning in the post-pandemic AI era.
